Real time Live score Coverage

Hi, I hope you are well. I’ve noticed that other platforms are showing live matches, but your API is currently returning zero live matches. This seems like a coverage or update issue. Please could you check and improve the real-time livescore coverage so it would cover more League and low tier League too

Hi Nyasha,

Thanks for reaching out. We do have live match coverage via the GET /api/live/ endpoint — it returns real-time scores, minutes, incidents, and live stats for matches currently in play. If you're seeing zero live matches, it's likely because there are no matches being played at the moment you queried. The endpoint is cached for 30 seconds and only returns matches with active play.

Right now, we cover 8 major leagues with full historical data and live updates. Your request to expand coverage to more leagues and lower-tier competitions is a great suggestion. I'm escalating this to the team so they can review the feasibility of broader league coverage.

Thanks for the feedback. We hear you — live coverage is valuable, and we know other platforms have broader league reach than we do right now.

We currently cover 40+ leagues with a focus on the major competitions. Our GET /api/live/ endpoint does return real-time data when matches are being played, but if you saw zero results, it just means no matches were live at that moment (the endpoint reflects what's actively playing).

We understand the desire for more low-tier league coverage. That's something we're aware of, and we appreciate you flagging it. Right now our focus has been on depth and reliability for the main leagues, but your request is noted.

In the meantime, feel free to check which leagues we support via GET /api/leagues/ — and if you hit the live endpoint when matches are scheduled, you'll see real-time updates.
