Live Stats

In the live event we have `live_stats`, but after the match ends those consolidated stats are no longer available. It would be useful to have the final numbers for possession, shots on target, etc.

Resolution: Match stats (possession, shots on target, corners, cards, xG) are now preserved and shown on the match page after a game ends. Previously the stats vanished because the data source sometimes published them a few minutes after full time and the system did not retry. The fix adds an automatic retry window and a daily cleanup sweep. Stats will now always appear on the final match page for all supported competitions.

Thanks for the report. The data was actually being saved correctly the whole time, but our public Event endpoint (/api/events/{id}/) was not exposing the live_stats field once a match finished. The Live Scores endpoint did expose it, but it stops returning a match the moment it ends, so the field appeared to vanish. Fixed by adding live_stats to the Event response, so possession, shots, shots on target, corners, fouls, yellow and red cards, offsides and expected goals are now visible both during the match and after full time. No action needed on your side.
