Standings

Some competitions follow a cup format with playoffs. In this case, I’m referring to the Brazilian Cup. There isn’t a league table where teams play multiple matches and the one with the most points wins. Instead, it works like a World Cup knockout bracket: two teams face each other, and the winner advances to the next round. Standings” doesn’t work for knockout competitions. It’s designed for league formats, not for tournaments like the Copa do Brasil.
