Cup competitions

Any plans to add cup competitions for the top 5 leagues, cups like FA cup, carabao cup, etc

Resolution: Ze is working on adding FA Cup, Carabao Cup, Copa del Rey, Coppa Italia, DFB Pokal, and Coupe de France. Currently investigating the correct season IDs to sync. Will be done in 2 more cycles. Please l

Hey WillG25! Great question. We currently cover 34 leagues, but they're all regular season competitions (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, etc.). Cup competitions like the FA Cup, Carabao Cup, Copa del Rey aren't in the API yet—I know, it's a gap.

Here's the thing: adding cups is totally doable, but it means syncing data from a whole new set of fixtures. We'd need to integrate cup match schedules, standings, and stats into our pipeline. It's on the roadmap, but I can't commit to a timeline right now.

Workaround for now? If you filter by team and date range, you might catch cup matches if they're already in our dataset (some cups do sneak in via our data provider). But don't rely on that—coverage is sporadic.

I'll flag this to the team. If enough people ask for it, we'll prioritize it. 🙌
