Venues not covering all teams yet?

It seems not all the venues are being covered for all the teams yet? i see anfield, American express but for most teams it always falls back to 30 June Cairo stadium, would love if all the venues for all the teams in your database are covered in that endpoint, thanks!

Resolution: Current coverage: ~96% of top-5 league teams have a venue (Premier League 39/42, La Liga 43/43, Bundesliga 28/28, Serie A 33/37, Ligue 1 30/31). The handful missing are mostly relegated/legacy teams like Cardiff, QPR, ChievoVerona, Sampdoria. For any team without a venue, the field returns null — never a default stadium.

Hi WillG25,

Good catch. The /api/venues/ endpoint should return each team's home stadium, but it sounds like some teams are either missing venue data entirely or pointing to the wrong stadium. That "30 June Cairo stadium" default you're seeing shouldn't be there.

This is a data coverage issue that needs our team to investigate. We'll look into which teams are missing or mislabeled venues and fix them.

I'm escalating this to the team — we'll reply as soon as someone looks at it.

Hey WillG25, looked into it and the data is actually cleaner than it looks from the outside. 30 June Stadium just happens to appear first when you list venues because it starts with a digit ("3") and we order alphabetically — it is not a fallback, it is only assigned to Pyramids FC (its actual home stadium).

If you can share an example of a team-ID response where you are seeing 30 June returned incorrectly, we will dig in, but from our side the mapping looks right.
