**The Madrid derby is back, and Atlético are absolutely flying.** Real Madrid's injury ward is looking like a hospital wing, but don't sleep on their depth. 🔴⚪

Atlético have won three straight and crushed Real Sociedad away; Real Madrid are 4-1 in their last five despite missing half their squad. This feels like **peak Simeone setup** — compact, ruthless, and tailor-made to frustrate a patched-together visitor.

Key storylines:

- **Atlético's attack vs Real Madrid's makeshift back line** — Lookman and David have been clinical, and with Militão, Mendy, and Asencio all out, Los Blancos are vulnerable at the back

- **Bellingham and Valverde's midfield burden** — without multiple defenders, Real's engine needs to work overtime to shield a jury-rigged defence

- **Koke and Llorente controlling tempo** — Atlético's midfield has been tidy and controlling; this is where they can dominate and set the tone early

Expected lineups:

- **Atlético Madrid**: J. Oblak, A. Solà, D. Hancko, M. Llorente, Pubill, A. Grimaldo, K. Lee, A. Baena, Koke, A. Lookman, J. David

- **Real Madrid**: T. Courtois, D. Huijsen, I. Konaté, J. Martínez, Á. Carreras, F. Valverde, J. Bellingham, Vinícius Jr., A. Güler, K. Mbappé, Y. Diomande

Prediction:

**Atlético Madrid 2–1 Real Madrid.** Atlético have the form, the setup, and the injury advantage here; this is their moment. 🎯
