API Data Usage and License#
Version 4.0. Effective 1 October 2026.
This section governs how you may use data obtained through the BSD API, WebSocket feeds and MCP server (the "Data"), operated by Bzzoiro LLC ("Bzzoiro", "we", "us"). It applies to all plans, including free access. By accessing the Data you agree to this section and to the general Terms of Service.
1. License grant#
Subject to these Terms, Bzzoiro grants you a nonexclusive, nontransferable, worldwide license to access and use the Data for the purposes described below. This license covers Bzzoiro's compilation, structure, identifiers, normalization, calculations, models and predictions. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
2. Permitted uses#
You may:
- Store and retain Data obtained through the API for internal use.
- Archive historical snapshots of the Data to study how values are updated, corrected or revised over time.
- Use the Data for internal research and development, statistical analysis, backtesting, model development and model evaluation.
- Process the Data as input, context or training material for AI and machine learning systems, including large language models, whether operated by you or by a third party on your behalf.
- Display the Data within your own applications, websites, dashboards and internal tools.
3. Derived outputs#
Analytics, scores, indicators, ratings, probabilities, forecasts, models and other outputs you create from the Data ("Derived Outputs") are yours. You may use, publish, sell and distribute Derived Outputs without restriction, provided they cannot reasonably be used to reconstruct a substantial part of the raw Data.
4. Prohibited uses#
You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, mirror or redistribute the raw Data, in whole or in substantial part, as a standalone dataset, feed, database or API.
- Offer a product or service whose primary purpose is to provide the raw Data as a data source.
- Share your API key or use multiple accounts to bypass plan limits.
- Interfere with, disrupt or overload the service or attempt to circumvent rate limits or technical restrictions.
- Use the Data for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that infringes the rights of any third party.
5. Retention after access ends#
When your subscription or access period ends, you may keep Data collected while your access was valid for research reproducibility, historical analysis and audit purposes, and you may continue to use Derived Outputs created from it. Sections 3 and 4 continue to apply to retained Data.
6. Third party media assets#
Logos, badges, player photographs and other media assets available through the API are the property of their respective owners and are not covered by the data license in this section. They are provided solely to identify teams, players, competitions and venues within your application. Any other use, including marketing, promotional or commercial use of the assets themselves, requires permission from the rights holder, which you are responsible for obtaining. Media endpoints may be modified and individual assets may be removed at any time, including in response to rights holder requests. If you believe an asset infringes your rights, contact [email protected] and it will be reviewed within 48 hours.
7. Data sources and accuracy#
The Data is compiled by Bzzoiro from publicly available sources, third party providers and Bzzoiro's own calculations and models. Bzzoiro is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any league, federation, club, broadcaster, bookmaker or other sports data provider. Any third party names that appear in the Data are used for factual identification only. You must not present the Data as official data of any league, club or federation.
8. Ownership and intellectual property#
The Data consists of factual information about sporting events (results, schedules, lineups, incidents, statistics), which is not subject to copyright, together with Bzzoiro's original compilation, structure, identifiers, normalization, calculations, models and predictions (the "Bzzoiro Works"). Bzzoiro owns all rights in the Bzzoiro Works. Bzzoiro does not claim ownership of underlying facts and does not claim any rights in third party names, marks, logos or content.
9. Your compliance obligations#
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your collection, storage, processing and use of the Data complies with all laws and regulations applicable to you, including intellectual property, database, gambling, advertising, consumer protection and data protection laws in every jurisdiction where you operate or offer your products. You must not combine the Data with third party content in a way that infringes the rights of that third party.
10. Indemnification#
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Bzzoiro LLC, its members, managers, employees and contractors from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Data or Derived Outputs, (b) your products, services or applications, (c) your breach of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any law or third party right. Bzzoiro may participate in the defense with counsel of its choice at its own expense. You may not settle any claim that imposes obligations on Bzzoiro without Bzzoiro's prior written consent.
11. Disclaimer of warranties#
THE DATA, THE API AND ALL RELATED SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE OR NONINFRINGEMENT. BZZOIRO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE DATA IS FREE FROM ERRORS OR FROM THIRD PARTY RIGHTS, THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT THE DATA IS SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR USE, INCLUDING WAGERING OR FINANCIAL DECISIONS. YOU USE THE DATA AT YOUR OWN RISK.
12. Limitation of liability#
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BZZOIRO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE DATA OR THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. BZZOIRO'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE DATA OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO BZZOIRO IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN EXCLUSIONS, IN WHICH CASE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED.
13. Suspension and termination#
Bzzoiro may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms, if your usage risks harm to the service or to third parties, or if required to comply with a legal obligation or a rights holder request. On termination for breach of Section 4, your license to retained Data under Section 5 also ends. Sections 3, 5 (where applicable), 6, and 8 through 15 survive termination.
14. Changes and versioning#
This section carries a version number and effective date. Data collected under a given version remains governed by that version for the purposes of Sections 2, 3 and 5. Material changes will be announced with reasonable notice, and previous versions remain available at https://sports.bzzoiro.com/docs/api-license/#version-history. Continued use after the effective date of a new version constitutes acceptance of it for Data collected from that date.
15. Governing law and dispute resolution#
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Data will be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator. The arbitration will be conducted in English and, unless the parties agree otherwise, on the basis of written submissions or by videoconference, with no requirement for either party to appear in person. The legal seat of the arbitration is New Mexico, United States. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Each party waives the right to participate in any class or representative action. Nothing in this section prevents Bzzoiro from seeking injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property, or either party from bringing an individual claim in a small claims court of competent jurisdiction.
