Four goals from seven shots. That is the return Jonatan Braut Brunes posted as Sparta Praha put five past 1. FC Slovácko, with the Norwegian forward responsible for all but one of them.
Sparta won 5-1, and for long stretches it looked like a one-man show. Brunes needed only seven attempts to find the net four times, five of those shots landing on target. Few strikers get a cleaner afternoon than that.
Efficiency in front of goal
The numbers tell their own story. Five shots on target, four goals. That kind of conversion rate does not happen by accident, and it reflects a striker who picked his moments rather than forcing the issue.
- Shots: 7
- Shots on target: 5
- Goals: 4
- Match rating: 10.0
A perfect mark
Brunes finished the match with a rating of 10.0, as complete a score as a performance tracker can hand out. Against a Slovácko side that conceded five, he was the difference between a routine win and a rout.
Sparta's attack did the rest of the damage with one further goal, but this was Brunes's afternoon from start to finish. Four goals in a single Czech First League fixture is the kind of return that gets remembered long after the final whistle.
