Hockey players

I went and checked what is actually available before answering, and the short version is yes - and there is more of it than a plain player list. Hockey has no squad endpoint upstream: asking a team for its players comes back empty. But match lineups are there, 38 to 39 players per game, and each one carries name, position, jersey number, date of birth, height, country and market value. Alongside them come per-match statistics: goals, assists, blocks, saves, faceoff percentage, giveaways, and about a dozen more. We hold 16,441 finished hockey matches, so harvesting those lineups would build the rosters for every league we cover, with a match-by-match record behind each player. That is the same route football already takes - players are gathered from lineups rather than from a squad list. Being straight about size: hockey currently has no player model at all, only teams, matches and predictions. This means new tables, a sync, and a walk over 16,441 matches for the history. It is days of work rather than an afternoon, so I am not going to promise you a date. What I can tell you is that it is possible and that nothing upstream blocks it.
