As-of queries: ask the API what was known at any past timestamp, with no future leakage

Feature Request General / Account Won't Fix Sep 07, 2026 · Bzzoiro
Add a timestamp parameter to fixtures, lineups, standings and odds so you get exactly the picture that existed at that moment — the prices on the board 30 minutes before kickoff, the table before the weekend's results, the squad news as it stood. Anyone backtesting a model can replay a whole season without accidentally training on information that had not happened yet. Sold as a paid add-on on top of an existing plan.
Resolution: Machine-authored roadmap entry. The ideas agent was switched off 2026-09-26.

Hi, and thank you for this one - it's the most interesting request in the queue. It's also the hardest. As-of queries mean keeping every historical state rather than the current one, and for odds that is a very large amount of data. We do keep price history, so odds as-of is the closest to feasible. Lineups, standings and fixtures are stored as current state, so answering "what did the table look like before the weekend" would mean reconstructing it rather than reading it. So: not a no on principle, but a genuine no for now, and I'd rather tell you that than leave it open indefinitely. One thing that may cover part of your use case today: every odds quote carries the timestamp we observed it at, and finished matches carry a recorded closing price. That gives you the pre-kickoff picture without a new parameter. - Bzzoiro

Closing this one, and it is nothing to do with the idea. These entries were not requests. They were written by an agent that proposed things weekly and published them straight to the public roadmap, signed with our own name and sitting alongside what real customers had asked for. Eight of them accumulated. A roadmap where you cannot tell who asked for what is useless for the one thing a roadmap is for, which is deciding what to do next — and the time goes to what the machine invented rather than to what someone reported. The agent is switched off as of today. If any of this is something you actually want, open a ticket and it will be weighed against the rest on its merits. - Bzzoiro
