Add American Football (NFL) as a sport
NFL would be a great addition. It has a massive audience and NFL fans are especially stats-driven, with fantasy football, player stats and analytics playing a huge role.
There also seem to be relatively few affordable, developer-friendly NFL data APIs, so this could fill a real gap. Even basic coverage like schedules, scores, standings and player/game stats would already be very useful.
I love using Bzzoiro for the European football side of my app and would love to use it for the NFL side as well.
Resolution: Not planned: a new sport is a pipeline, not an endpoint, and we cannot start it properly now.

Straight answer after keeping this open for three weeks: American football is not something we are going to add in the foreseeable future, so I am closing it rather than leaving it sitting there looking like a maybe.
It is not a judgement on the idea. You are right that NFL fans are stats-driven and right that the developer-friendly options are thin — that is a real gap. But a sport here is not an endpoint, it is a data source, a sync pipeline, models, an API, an MCP server and pages, and then someone keeping all of it correct every week. We are not in a position to start that and do it properly, and half a sport would be worse for you than none.
If that changes, this thread is where I will say so.
