Informations modifications
Seeably the informations of the accounts are not changeable.
We can only modifiy the password, I think it would be great to allow the changes of these informations (pseudo, email address).
Resolution: Self-serve email change at /account/, verified by a link to the new address with the old one notified. Username stays immutable.

Hi,
You are right about what is possible today: password is self-serve, username and email address are not.
Email can be changed, just not by you - write in from the address on the account saying what you want it changed to, and I will move it by hand. Username is not something I will change: it is what your tips, comments and tickets are attributed to, and renaming it rewrites that history.
I am leaving this open as the request for self-serve editing rather than closing it. No date.

Built. You can change your own email address now, at /account/ — it is in the account menu and on the dashboard next to the password button. No more writing in and waiting for me.
It asks for your current password, and then nothing happens until you open a link sent to the new address. That is deliberate rather than fussy: a typo would otherwise lock you out of your own account for good, and a signed-in browser alone should not be enough to move an account somewhere else. Your old address also gets told that the request was made, while it is still yours, so if it was not you then you find out in time. Changing your password kills any pending request.
Username is still fixed, for the reason I gave you in September: it is what your tips, comments and tickets are attributed to. That has not changed and I am not going to pretend it might.
So: half of what you asked for, and the half I said was possible. Thanks for filing it - it had been on the "someone should do this" pile for a while and the ticket is what moved it.
