On This Day archive pages: every result, debut and transfer that happened on today's date
A daily public page for every calendar date showing what happened on that day across our full history — results from past seasons, notable transfers completed, and the players who made their debut. Each entry links straight through to the match, team and player pages, so a search for an old scoreline lands somewhere useful. New page every day, forever, with an archive back through every season we hold.
Resolution: Shipped as /on-this-day/, with a page per calendar date.

Hi, nice idea, and it's the kind of thing our archive is actually suited to - we hold results going back decades for the major leagues.
Not something I'm committing to build, though. It's a content surface rather than a data one, and my time is better spent on the API that people pay for than on pages that mostly serve search engines.
If you wanted to build it yourself, everything it needs is already exposed: historical fixtures by date, transfers with dates, and player pages. That is genuinely all of it.

Built and live.
Marking this one resolved and then closing the rest of its kind. These roadmap entries were written by an agent that proposed things weekly and posted them here, signed with our own name, next to what actual customers asked for. That agent is switched off as of today. Three of its proposals had already been built and this is one of them; the others are being closed so the roadmap only carries what someone actually asked for.
