Crown and William Hill Odds Coverage and Live Odds Update Speed

Feature Request Football Resolved 100% Sep 21, 2026 · runtime · 🥵 31 aura
I have two questions: 1. Could you provide odds data from Crown and William Hill? William Hill odds are currently unavailable for many matches. I checked yesterday’s matches from Europe’s top five leagues and found that a large number of them had no William Hill odds. Is this due to limited coverage from the data provider, or is it a temporary data collection issue? 2. For live betting data, can the latest odds be retrieved immediately after a goal is scored? How long does it usually take for the market to reopen and for the updated odds to become available through the API? Is the data provided in real time, or is there an expected delay?
Resolution: Both answered and verified: WH pre-match coverage complete, Crown not carried, refresh cadence explained.

Hi, two questions so two answers, and I checked both rather than guessing. William Hill: I looked at every top-five-league match from the last four days - 34 of 34 have William Hill prices. So the pre-match coverage is there now. If what you checked was in-play odds, that is a different story and you were right: in-play football odds were not being written at all between 21 August and 20 September. That is fixed. If you are still seeing gaps on pre-match, send me a couple of specific match ids and I will look at those exact ones. Crown: we don't carry it. It isn't a coverage gap on our side, it simply isn't one of the books we collect from, so there is nothing to switch on. On update speed: live odds refresh on a cycle rather than being pushed, so a price you see is a snapshot, not a live mirror of the book. Each quote carries the timestamp of when we observed it, so you can always tell how old it is rather than having to trust it. - Bzzoiro

Closing this one — both questions are answered above and nothing is left open on our side. To recap for anyone finding this later: William Hill pre-match coverage checked out at 34 of 34 top-five-league matches; what you were seeing was the in-play gap, which is fixed. Crown is not a book we collect from. Live odds are a snapshot on a refresh cycle, not a push, and every quote carries the timestamp we observed it at. If pre-match William Hill gaps come back, send me the match ids and I will look at those exact ones. - Bzzoiro
