**Portugal hosting Wales in the Nations League opener — and the home side's looking sharp after putting Spain on the back foot.** The Portuguese are clicking again, while Wales are stuck in a rut with key defenders sidelined. 🏆

Form tells the whole story: Portugal just beat Croatia at home and only dropped points to Spain; Wales have won once in five and are leaking goals. The visitors will be without **J. Rodon**, **I. Davies**, and **D. Lawlor**, leaving their backline stretched thin.

Key storylines:

- **C. Ronaldo** and **J. Félix** leading a loaded Portuguese attack against a Wales defence missing three key pieces
- **B. Fernandes** and **Vitinha** controlling midfield tempo — Wales' **D. Brooks** and **E. Ampadu** have work to do just staying compact
- Home advantage at **Estádio José Alvalade** — Portugal haven't lost here recently and the crowd will push them forward early

Expected lineups:

- **Portugal**: D. Costa, R. Dias, J. Cancelo, N. Mendes, B. Fernandes, Vitinha, G. Ramos, J. Félix, F. Trincão, C. Ronaldo
- **Wales**: K. Darlow, J. DaSilva, B. Davies, B. Cabango, E. Ampadu, D. Brooks, B. Johnson, H. Wilson, K. Moore

Prediction:

**Portugal 2-0 Wales.** The hosts have the personnel and the setup to dominate; Wales' injury pile makes this a mismatch. 🎯
