**Minnesota's defensive woes head into a clash with an LA Galaxy side that just got absolutely humbled in Vancouver.** Both teams are limping into this one, but the Loons' shaky backline is the real story here. 🚨

Minnesota's been leaking goals all month—conceded 14 in their last five matches—while LA Galaxy are just as inconsistent, bouncing between a shutout win and a 3-0 thumping. At home in Saint Paul, the Loons have the edge, but don't expect a clean game.

Key storylines:

- **Minnesota's M. Boxall and defensive core** need to tighten up or the Galaxy's attacking trio of **M. Reus, J. Paintsil, and K. Furuhashi** will punish them
- LA Galaxy missing **R. Puig** (a creative hub) limits their midfield threat; Minnesota can exploit that with **W. Trapp** anchoring possession
- **K. Yeboah and M. Caldeira** form a potent strike partnership for the Loons if the midfield holds any shape

Expected lineups:

- **Minnesota United**: D. Callender, M. Boxall, M. Duggan, J. Díaz, J. Pereyra, W. Trapp, O. Gene, T. Chancalay, K. Yeboah, M. Caldeira
- **LA Galaxy**: J. Marcinkowski, J. Aude, J. Glesnes, H. Miller, M. Yoshida, L. Sanabria, R. Taylor, M. Reus, J. Paintsil, K. Furuhashi

Prediction:

**Minnesota 2-1 LA Galaxy.** Home sides with attacking depth tend to edge vulnerable defenses, and the Loons grab it despite their shaky backline. 📍
