A good week for anyone who cares about squads being right. Here is what changed.
Two more leagues to follow
2. Bundesliga and the Campeonato de Portugal are now covered, and both got there because fans put money behind them. If you have been waiting on German second tier fixtures or the Portuguese fourth tier, they are in your hands now. We also brought league funding into the iPhone widget, so you can see how close a competition is to being covered without opening anything.
Squads that stay put
This was the big one. A quiet housekeeping routine was quietly undoing summer transfers, which meant 201 players were drifting between clubs every night and then drifting back. Injuries were affected too: a player returning in one match could look fit again even when he was still sidelined. Both are fixed. Summer moves stick, squad lists hold steady from one day to the next, and who is injured is now shown properly.
Fewer "try again in a few seconds" moments
Some of you hit a message saying matches could not be fetched right now. That has been tracked down and sorted, so match lists load when you ask for them. We also repaired the counting behind your usage allowance, which had gone quiet for a stretch: your call totals are being recorded accurately again, so what you see reflects what you have actually used.
Honest prices when you come back
If you paused a subscription and went to restart it, the Resume button could quote a higher price than you were really paying. Founding members were the ones most affected, seeing $7 when their rate was $3. The button now shows your real price, every time.
Plenty of your questions this week were about squads, points and usage limits, and several of them pointed us straight at the problems above. Keep them coming: they shape what we fix next.
