League football never sleeps, and right now eight clubs in eight different competitions are enjoying the view from the summit.

In Brazil, Palmeiras command the Brasileirão on 48 points after 22 matches, their 14 wins offset by just two defeats and a goal difference of +22. Over in Major League Soccer, Nashville SC hold 40 points from 18 games, maintaining a +21 goal margin with 12 victories.

Perfect start in Sweden

The standout record belongs to IK Sirius in Sweden's Allsvenskan: 13 wins from 16 matches, zero defeats, 42 points and a +25 goal difference. Their unbeaten run has them three points clear at the top and looking ominous.

Elsewhere, MAS de Fès lead Morocco's Botola Pro on 59 points (16W 11D 3L, +23), while FC Seoul top South Korea's K League 1 on 44 points despite four losses, their 13 wins and +18 difference enough to edge the chasing pack. In China, Chengdu Rongcheng sit first in the Super League with 45 points from 22 games, six draws keeping things tight.

Women's football and Queensland

NJ/NY Gotham FC lead the NWSL on 43 points, 13 wins and just three defeats giving them a +13 cushion in goal difference. Down in Australia's NPL Queensland, Lions FC are out front on 53 points, their 17 wins and +35 goal difference built over 22 matches with only three losses.

Each of these teams will know the hardest part comes next: staying there.
